La juventud europea crea turismo cultural /Eurocreative youth
Objectives
The general objective is to promote cultural tourism as a catalyst for attracting population, economic activity, and quality employment in rural and remote areas with high levels of depopulation and/or economic and social depression. The aim of this project is to provide a training opportunity for the young men and women who live in these areas so that they acquire the necessary skills that will allow them to exploit the possibilities of entrepreneurship in cultural tourism.
Activities
- The project will develop the following activities:- Participation in Tirana Youth Capital 2022.
– Identification of the best practices that serve as an example to young men and women to re-energize the rural environment.
– Training course on creativity for the development of cultural tourism in rural areas.
– Piloting of the collaborative platform by 150 young people.
-Five local seminars.
-International meeting in Turkey with representatives of local municipalities.
Impact
The main results of the projects will be:
– A training manual for young people on creativity for the development of cultural tourism in rural areas.
– A collaborative platform and a virtual interactive network.
– Guidelines for policy recommendations on the development of cultural tourism in rural areas.
The objective is that the 150 young people who participate in piloting the platform acquire skills related to creativity and entrepreneurship in cultural tourism.

Between December 5-7, the transnational meeting took place within the “Eurocreative Youth” project from the Erasmus Plus program that took place in Tirana (Albania), which is also the European Youth Capital 2022, which is why we organized this meeting in Tirana, having as hosts Kongresi Rinor Kombëtar, official partner in organizing the activities of the European Youth Capital 2022.
The project consortium consists of AEGARE (Spain), Razvojna agencija Sotla (Slovenia), Inbie Pl (Poland), Kongresi Rinor Kombëtar (Albania), Universitat Jaume I – UJI (Spain) and
Kepder Kültür Eğitim ve Proje Derneği (Turkey).
The “Eurocreative Youth” project aims for this group of young people to improve and increase their entrepreneurial skills in cultural tourism, with the aim of facilitating their inclusion and social fixation in these rural territories.
This context in which young Europeans living in rural areas and the challenges related to the development of these regions, is not local or national, but European.
Project objectives:
– The main objective of the “Eurocreative Youth” project is the social inclusion of young people living in rural and remote areas, so that they acquire, through training, the necessary skills that will allow them to creatively undertake cultural tourism in these areas.
Therefore, many young people living in rural and remote areas have fewer opportunities to train and acquire appropriate skills or abilities to improve their employability.
