Registration of the company can be done at one stop entry point at VEM point. What it more important it does not take much time and most of the things could be obtained for the founder of company without his presence, based on power of attorney. Obtaining tax number takes one day, while obtaining of criminal record clearance takes 3 or 4 days. After having those documents, you are ready to register your business. Registration is to been done at VEM point free of charge. Moreover, our clients do variety of other important things through VEM point – such as tax data submissions, social insurance registration, registration for job vacancies etc. Apart from that, our experienced referents will always recommend you what is the best way to improve your business and how to avoid difficulties.

At the Entry Points VEM we offer:

Community-led local development LAG “OBSOTELJE AND KOZJANSKO”

Community-led local development (hereinafter: CLLD) is supported by three funds in Slovenia. Ministries issued first decisions on the approval for 17 out of 37 expected LAGs for the period 2014-2020. All LAGs are going to be approved by the end of October 2016.

The LEADER approach itself was established in Slovenia in the 2007-2013 programming period and has proven a successful tool for the realisation of local development objectives of Local Action Groups (LAG). All 33 confirmed LAGs remained active throughout the entire programming period. The LEADER measures were implemented on 95% of Slovenian territory. More than 1,400 projects were approved.

The 2014-2020 programming period is delivering the application of the  CLLD approach in three funds, i.e. EAFRD, EMFF (both Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry) and ERDF (Ministry of Economic Development and Technology). EUR 52,4 million is earmarked from the EAFRD, 6,6 million from the EMFF and 37,5 million from the ERDF.

LAGs with Local Development Strategies (LDS) are granted the right on the basis of the criteria (number of residents in LAG, LAG surface area and development of the area) to draw funds from each relevant fund. The LAGs are allocated a quota of funds which they will be able to draw on the basis of operations selected on the basis of public tenders for LAGs. When preparing LDSs, local partnerships have to observe the following key challenges:
1. job creation,
2. development of basic services,
3. environmental protection and nature preservation,
4. greater inclusion of the young, women and other vulnerable groups

LAG “Obsotelje and Kozjansko” was established on April 10th 2008. It operates in the area of five municipalities: Kozje, Podčetrtek, Rogaška Slatina, Rogatec and Šmarje pri Jelšah. There is a population of 30.027 people living in this area. The LAG area is a part of the subregion Obsotelje and Kozjansko and a part of the Savinjska statistical region. It represents a wholesome region in terms of geography, economy and development.

 

EUROPE FOR CITIZENS: ‘NOT-GAP’ (2016-2017) Network of Organizations and Towns Growing through Active Participation

“What can 14 partners (from 9 EU Countries + 3 Partner Countries, SR, AL, FYROM) do to answer the needs of their communities to better understanding the meaning of “European Citizenship” and, at the same time, to directly contribute to the construction of the future of the EU? The answer is “NOT-GAP: Network of Organizations and Towns Growing through Active Participation”, a Network of 6 Municipalities, 2 National Associations of Municipalities, 1 Agency of Municipalities and 5 Civil Society Organizations. It was born with the intent to open a discussion around EU, bringing the distrustful and favorable citizens to better understand the EU, its Institutions and its System of Partecipatory Democracy.

The project will start the 1st of January 2016 and it will last for 2 years.Thanks to 5 international events the Network will stimulate a new reflection about the sense of the European Union,bringing the European Participatory Tools (EU elections,Citizens’ Initiatives,Volunteering,Citizens’ Dialogues..) closer to its citizens, who will practice and familiarize with them (through simulation games and working groups). In this way they will learn how to make their voice be heard at European level and how to directly contribute to the future of Europe. What is more,the best practices of local active participation will be exchanged among the partners.

During the project,14 APD (Agents of Participatory Democracy, 1 per partner) will be trained,in order to assure a deeper promotion and dissemination of “NOT-GAP” results. They will be responsible of the organization of local campaigns and meetings with citizens, creating a multiplier effect. The Network will also create and produce a Usb Pendrive (with the information about the tools, useful also for training more citizens as APDs) and a Web Portal (www.notgap.eu) where the APD’s will constantly answer the questions of the citizens and help them to specify and promote their participatory initiatives at local and EU level.”

 N.I.C.E – Nature in Cooperative Education (Erasmus+)

The project NICE Nature in Cooperative Education, co-funded by Programme Erasmus+, it is è coordinato dal Dipartimento di Giurisprudenza, Scienze Politiche Economiche e Sociali (DIGSPES) dell’Università del Piemonte Orientale e racchiude i seguenti co-beneficiari:Associazione Monferralto,Razvojna Agencija Sotla (Slovenia),Paragon Europe (Malta),East Riding of Yorkshire Council (UK).

NICE has among its own reasons: (i) to contribute a responsible growth of the new generations and (ii) to renew the link between individuals and nature at school.

NICE works on two levels: a methodological one by which it wants become a potential best practice to support training of teachers of primary and secondary schools, and one more active about project actions.

The definition of a methodology, based mainly on research-action and or on research training will allow the project to be replicate on different regions and on different fields. Operative field chosen to develop NICE project intends to experiment in schools a new way to promote culture of well-being, connecting to the city farms the idea of a life in harmony with environment trough food and nutrition.

The objectives of the project NICE are the following:

  • Make people aware on environmental issues linking each living being with the earth and strengthen a major awareness on relationship among man/nature/well-being in young generations.

  • Know and respect traditions of the region which, as regards Expo 2015, will be able to compare with culture of other Countries;

  • Promote aware consumption of food to favour the adoption of safe band sustainable habits;

  • Develop the concept of environmental respect to boost resulting behaviours;

Concerning methodology:

  • Find out an effective modus operandi to implement training projects on similar regions, providing an offer of good level to realise extra school training;

  • Find out flexible guidelines, suitable to different situations, but able to guarantee the achievement of objectives;

  • Manage issues in a inter-disciplinary manner involving students, even working in group, and by ways stimulating students in problem solving.

  • Build a methodology able  to support the project and training proposal even beyond the three years of start up of Erasmus+ programme: in particular you’ll be able to pass from a accompanying phase (realised by the project) to a progressive autonomy;

  • Start a virtuous way to the widening of experimentation in more and more schools and regions.

 Expected results of NICE can be divided into achieved targets and territory benefits.

The achievement of objectives will allow to get:

1. a more interesting approach for students who enter the school made of discovery, analysis skill, development of critical attitude,

2. Increase of competence of teachers that could be transferred to pupils and other teachers by peer education;

3. Possibility of school and teachers to join multicultural experiences gathered on website;

4. Opportunity of students to compare with classes of other European countries on similar projects, and the possibility to participate the mobility and the direct comparaison.

5. A greater interest for school activities and acceptance of students concerning school as guidance to life and training to the access to job market.

6. A greater awareness among new generations, about links between man and environment, food and life quality, territory and food;

7. A greater interdisciplinary among school courses and work among teachers;

8. A greater critic skill among new generations, to develop the personal and working skills;

9. A greater skill in solving problems by young people and a consequently best entrepreneurial approach as part of the aquired skills.

Traditional Settlements, Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Development (Erasmus+)

The rationale of this project is related with the fact that Traditional settlements in Greece consist an integrated part of the Greek tradition and heritage. Therefore, their preservation, not as lifeless museum exhibits or as destroyed monuments, but as a dynamic part of the contemporary life is crucial for the regional development of the country yet.

By this meaning, the project about the “Traditional Settlements” has firstly been implemented by the Centre for Environment Education of Filiates, in local-national level in order to reclaim and promote the Traditional Settlements of Thesprotia region.

The target groups involved will gain knowledge, experience and awareness on the subject, widening their professional challenges and gradually becoming defenders of the cultural wealth.

The transnational implementation of this project will enhance the exchange of knowledge, ideas and good practices for the adult education in activities, which might be developed in the traditional settlements-villages, all over Europe, providing professional solutions to the relevant with this field jobs.

The objectives and targets set in European legislation are key drivers to improve the protection of the cultural heritage. Starting from the fact that culture is not static but it results as an output of mixing populations, the political evolutions worldwide and the issue of identities and differences, motivates us to reclaim tradition as an active factor in the procedure of the identity designation.

 

Activities:

a) Study on the bibliography by the partners and there will be collected and registrated the relevant material with each region (related with that ration, cultural heritage, sustainable development, exploitation, the architectural influences and the technology of the constructions).

b) Exchanging visits and research in vivo

c) Organizing educational activities

d) Constitution of work groups for the production and the dissemination of the educational material

e) Conducting a study for the perspectives of the economical exploitation of the traditional settlements

f) Cultural Events with interactive participation of the people involved

 

Methods:

1. SWOT Analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats).

2. Adult Education Project Management:

Peer group, study case, brainstorming, project management, integration of corresponding strategies and techniques and IT tools.
